Join author Joan Green for an evening of meaningful conversation, connection, and reflection as she shares her new book, Navigating Two Worlds: From Blind Spots to Awareness in Interracial Families. Moderated by her daughter, Jordan Green, the discussion will explore love as an action word and the power of self-awareness to create a ripple effect of positive impact.
In Navigating Two Worlds, Joan explores what it means to be part of an interracial family — where privilege, culture, and love intersect in ways that bring both challenges and extraordinary opportunities for growth. Through personal reflection and the stories of other women, she examines interracial marriage, parenting, and the complex role race plays within our families and communities.
Join us at the Homestead Gardens Beer Garden for a relaxed summer evening filled with craft beers, ciders, meaningful dialogue, and authentic connection. Come for the summer vibes, stay for the conversation - we can’t wait to see you there!
